Forget about wool socks and cold feet and meet Therm-ic, an Austrian company claiming that it has solved an extremely uncomfortable issue for many of us: cold feet. And they did it with technologies and not your merino wool socks: using a remote control and three heat levels you can heat up your ski boots for up to 18 hours.  Not only that, Therm-ic products can also stimulate the blood circulation.

Can get enough of those or still prefer smart wool to smart batteries and wireless signals? Then you might try Therm-ic heated gloves. According to the manufacturer, the Therm-ic heating elements are integrated in the individual fingers of the Therm-ic glove. And technology makes them as mobile and handy as any glove, while offering warmth and comfort when others are feeling the cold. And just like the deal with their special insoles, they mention that NI-MH battery packs are adjustable to three different heat levels and supply heat for up to 10 hours while providing the required warmth. At the same time, the integrated impulse control additionally stimulates the blood circulation in the fingers, thus supporting the heat effect.

I honestly never tried these hi-tech innovations personally, but it seems that Therm-ic partners with a number of well known ski and snowboard manufacturers such as Atomic, Burton and Salomon, so these brands must use their technology in one or another way. So, if you or your special one chronically suffer from cold feet of fingers, give it a shot, after all this is the 21st century. However, warm fingers and wireless remote mean one thing: you will pay some extra money for it. On the other hand, if their product does solve your problem with cold fingers, then why not? It could make a good gift…well, at least innovative one.
