Have your ever thought about trying telemark skiing? Here is your chance: on Sunday, February 21, Bromley Mountain will hold an annual telemark race, provide demo gear and clinics for all skills. A forecast calls for some snow on Saturday and Sunday, so it seems that conditions will be favorable to explore – read: fall on your rear with confidence – Bromley’s terrain.

I participated in a clinic last year and have nothing but positive memories of that day. Our session ran for over three hours, an instructor was knowledgeable, and since most folks in my group failed to appreciate telemark skiing during the first hour of the clinic, it became a private lesson by the end of a day. Give it a shot – you should not be disappointed. Just make sure that your quads and knees are in a tip top shape!
