My side of the story:
It is a pretty much windproof layer. I would not go as far as to call it a fleece, as some reviewers called it, because you still need a light/mid weight layer to stay warm during periods of inactivity. I think that Frenzy Jacket can be more accurately described as a technical JACKET perfect for fall and spring season outdoor activities. This jacket is on the short side lengthwise, so if you like pieces that cover your rear, you might look elsewhere for a longer wind-stopping jacket. My favorite technical feature are PIT ZIPS. The frenzy jacket comes with enormous pit zips which allow you to dump an equal amount of heat build-up inside of the jacket during high-paced athletic activities. So, don’t sweat – you will like this jacket!
